Quiet mornings and could not beat the view. Evening fires at 5pm in the lodge great room and meeting others and having our wine. Woke up everyday and had a bite to eat with their light breakfast and toured the mountains during the day. Got our good night sleep and we specifically went there for rest and relaxation and that is what we got.
Couldn’t have been happier with that little arrangement. Our room was nice there was a small issue with the heating and they simply moved us and upgraded us to a lakefront room within 2 min. The grounds and set up of the resort are fantastic! We stayed in the lodge and arriving late tired and hungry luckily the lean to restaurant was still open and easy to grab a bite.
I had a personal loss of a friend the night before we arrived there but still made the most of it and glad we did. Great Pines is the perfect place! We went for a weekend getaway and we were lucky enough to find availability here. Overall the food and drinks were great.nThe continental breakfast that was left all day included a variety of cereals, oatmeal, breakfast bars, yogurts, fruits coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and juice.nI would definitely recommend The Great Pines with its lake and mountain views! As were all the servers! Jamie the bartender made the best Winter sangria.nJamie is a hard working and efficient bartender! It is obvious Fiorella has created a team that works well together. It was perfect for2! We were able to park our snowmobiles directly in front of our room.nAfter settling in we went to the Lean-To restaurant and bar. All the amenities in the room were awesome! ( over sized towels, Keurig coffee maker, Starbucks k-cups, Alexus,) For a small jacuzzi the jets were powerful. She went above and beyond to insure our stay was great! nOur jacuzzi suite was cozy and clean. The manager, Fiorella was warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. Before we arrived I had some questions so I called. My husband and I took a snowmobiling trip and stayed at the Great Pines.
